A hands-free world

It’s a hands-free world. Technology, well, is. One device is synced up to another is synced up to another.

Look, Mom, it’s a hands-free world. But even leading voice-activated lives, there’s one thing we can’t sync with. And that thing is time.

We can pay our bills in 30 seconds. Without touching our phone or unfolding our wallet.

Look, Mom, it’s a hands-free world. We can’t make an appointment on time.

Late is the new early. Clock-toting, alarm-wielding devices to our blood streams. Time is the last thing to tie down with a string.

The clock is nary a source of stress. For many, for whatever reason. In ways it restricts our freedom.

We can be wherever it is we want whenever we don’t mean to be there. That’s certainly not a lot of pressure. But it’s at least as unruly as fair.

Look, Mom, it’s a hands-free world. Grab your devices. Sync, boot and pair.
